Gourmet Harney & Sons Tea

Our teas at Simpatico Espresso are all Harney and Sons Teas.  Harney tea sachets are pyramid-shaped silky nylon teabags that are filled with whole-leaf loose tea, proven to be a convenient and consistent way to brew great tea.  The benefit of the pyramid shape is that it allows the tea leaves (the teas are full leaf) to expand fully, thus allowing the full tea taste to develop.  The flavors are clear, yet elegant.  The nylon is food safe and stable in boiling water, no strainers are needed.  Certified kosher.

Sachets are $1.75 (recommended 16 oz. and 20 oz. cups).  All teas can be served over ice for $2.00.

Flavors:

African Autumn (caffeine-free herbal): blend of herbal redbush, cranberry and oranges

Citron Green (caffeinated): delicate citrus flavor and beautiful orange flavors – a gentle introduction into the world of green tea

Chamomile Herbal (caffeine-free herbal): Egyptian chamomile flavors of which we use only flower heads – no extenders, producing an tisane with definite body

Chinese Flower (caffeinated): a beautiful blend of green teas and three types of flowers accented with citrus flavors

Dragon Pearl Jasmine (caffeinated): a masterpiece from Fuan, China.  Beautiful little hand rolled pearls are gently infused with the floral essence from the jasmine flowers.  The tea is a delight to look at and its brew also delivers.  The light colored brew is full of floral and sweet aromas.

Earl Grey Supreme (caffeinated): for the connoisseur – a higher grade of teas along with the addition of silver tips.  If you love Bergamot and fine tea, this is the blend for you.

Holiday Tea Blend (caffeinated): delightful blend of black teas, citrus, almond and spice flavors.

Hot Cinnamon Sunset (caffeinated): medium-bodied black tea naturally sweetened to perfection by a blend of cinnamon, orange and sweet cloves.

Mutan White (caffeinated): an excellent introduction to rare white tea,  An abundance of silvery white buds and green leaves.

Paris (caffeinated): a fruity black tea with a hint of lemony Bergamot.

Peppermint Herbal (caffeine-free herbal): from orange comes a marvelous, brisk peppermint producing a great smelling and crisp tasting tisane, a cup of this can get a pesky stomach under control in no time.

Pomegranate Oolong (caffeinated): the full leaves of premium Ti Quan Tin oolong are deliciously infused with tangy pomegranate

Vanilla Comobro (decaf): popular dessert tea

Winter White Earl Grey (caffeinated): beautiful Chinese mutan white tea with the distinctive Bergamot citrus fragrance of traditional earl grey.
